Senior management team
Gregg Lehman, Ph.D., President and
CEO Gregg is a nationally recognized leader in
health management services and brings more than 20 years'
experience in the health care industry. Prior to
HealthFitness, he served as president and CEO of INSPIRIS, a
Nashville-based specialty care medical management company.
Gregg also was president and CEO of Gordian Health Solutions
Inc., a health management company, and president and CEO of
the National Business Coalition of Health. In addition to
serving on numerous national boards, he works with the Health
Care Purchasing Institute through Academy Health, the eHealth
Initiative, the National Quality Forum, the National Patient
Safety Foundation, and other purchasing/quality organizations
that promote value-based purchasing and market-based reform.
Gregg has a doctorate and a Master of Science degree in higher
education administration, with a minor in finance and
economics from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in
business management and marketing from Indiana University.
Wes Winnekins, Chief Financial
Officer Wes joined HealthFitness as chief
financial officer and treasurer in 2001. Prior to
HealthFitness, Wes served as CFO of University.com Inc., a
privately held provider of online learning solutions for
corporations. He also served as CFO and vice president of
operations for Reality Interactive, a publicly held developer
of CD-ROMs and online training for the corporate market. At
these companies, Wes was responsible for the development of
business plans, raising expansion capital, budget development
and shareholder relations. Additionally, he has served in a
number of key management positions in the health and fitness
industry, including controller and director of operations for
The Marsh, a 100,000-square-foot health club and full-service
spa in Minneapolis. Wes has a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree in accounting from Iowa State
University.
Jim Reynolds, M.D., Chief Medical
Officer As chief medical officer, Jim leads
HealthFitness’ Research, Development and Outcomes division and
is instrumental in new program development and existing
program enhancement. In addition, Jim works closely with the
sales and account management groups to bring clinical
perspectives to ensure best practices and evidence-based
content are the basis of HealthFitness’ services. Jim brings
more than 30 years of experience in clinical medicine, health
management and quality assurance. Prior to HealthFitness, Jim
served nearly three years as a senior consultant in Mercer
Health and Benefits Health and Productivity Management
specialty practice. Jim has a M.D. degree from the University
of Missouri and is board certified in internal medicine. He is
an active member of the American College of Physicians,
American Medical Association, and the American College of
Environmental and Occupational Medicine.
John Griffin, Chief Operations
Officer John oversees the operations, information
technology and account services functions at HealthFitness. He
brings more than 20 years experience in executive leadership
of health management and health information technology
organizations. Previously, he was chief operating officer for
Gordian Health Solutions, a population health management
company headquartered in Nashville, Tenn. John holds a Doctor
of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of
Law and a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He is a member of
the Health Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association.
John Ellis, Chief Information
Officer John joined
HealthFitness as chief information officer in December 2005,
when the company acquired HealthCalc Net Inc. (HCN). At HCN,
John was a co-founder and the company's chief executive
officer. He has served as vice president of product
development with PKI Software, as well as senior specialist
with Perot Systems Corp., where he led the successful design
and development of large-scale software projects. John also
has served as vice president of information technology at
People Karch International, a health and fitness software
development and services firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in physical education from the Citadel.
Brian Gagne, Senior Vice President, Account
Management Brian directs and manages resources for
HealthFitness-branded health management programs and fitness
management services. He has more than 20 years of health,
fitness and wellness experience in the corporate, commercial
and medical fitness markets. Prior to joining HealthFitness in
2003, Brian was director of integrated behavioral solutions
and provided strategic design and development for patient
education programs, as well as tools for the Johnson &
Johnson family of companies. Brian has a master’s degree in
exercise physiology and a bachelor’s degree in exercise
science from the University of Illinois.
Jeanne Crawford, Chief Human Resources
Officer Jeanne has more than 20 years of
experience in executive human resources and business
positions, including 12 years dedicated to the health care
industry. As vice president of human resources, she is
responsible for all aspects of human resources, including
recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and development,
performance management, employee relations, payroll
administration, and safety and legal compliance. At
HealthFitness, she has served as a human resources team leader
in the transition and integration of more than 30 single and
multi-site management contracts for client groups such as
Texas Instruments, Hewlett Packard and Compaq. Jeanne
graduated cum laude from Temple University with a bachelor’s
degree in business administration, and is a member of the
Society for Human Resources Management.
Debra Marshall, Vice President,
Marketing Debra is responsible for HealthFitness'
global strategic marketing and communications initiatives. She
brings more than 26 years' experience marketing to both the
business community and consumers. More than a decade of
Debra's expertise is concentrated in the health and fitness
industries, delivering measurable success through marketing
communications for a health and fitness facility and an
industry-leading manufacturer of inline skates. Prior to
HealthFitness, Debra served as marketing director for a
software developer of transaction assurance tools for health
care and other markets. A graduate of Hamline University,
Debra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in social psychology.
She has continued her professional education through courses
in effective marketing programs, strategic long-term planning,
employee management systems and persuasiveness and
presentation.
Katherine Meacham Hamlin, Vice President, Account
Services Katherine leads the account services team
for health management, ensuring client satisfaction and
business results. She supports clients' health-related
business goals through integrated health solutions. Katherine
brings 22 years' experience in the health and fitness
industry, including leadership positions in the design and
development of health management strategy for more than 100
organizations. Prior to joining HealthFitness in 2003, she
spent 15 years with the Health & Fitness Division of
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc., where she was
director of marketing services and national sales, leading
business expansion in the United States and internationally.
She also has more than a decade of operations experience
working with Fortune 500 clients, including IBM, General
Electric and General Motors. Katherine has a bachelor's degree
in business with an emphasis in exercise science and sports
management from the University of Tennessee and a Master of
Business Administration degree from East Tennessee State
University. She also has completed organizational development
classes at Pepperdine University.
David Hurt, Vice President, Account Services
David oversees operations of all HealthFitness
fitness business within the United States and Canada. He
joined HealthFitness in 1994 and currently directs overall
development and management of more than 365 sites, including
hospital, commercial, university, community, and corporate
fitness-based sites. David brings more than 18 years of
industry experience. He has been involved in the successful
development and management of several fitness facility
startups ranging in size from 45,000 to 150,000 square feet.
These projects include: the Louisiana Athletic Club, the
Christus St. Elizabeth Health and Wellness Center, the St.
Mary's Health and Fitness Center, and the MIT Zesiger Sports
and Fitness Center. David is a graduate of James Madison
University, where he received a bachelor's degree in sports
management. |
